| SECTION 1 Sierra Pacific Flyfishers of Los Angeles offer free fly casting classes

The Peninsula Fly Fishers, of the San Francisco Peninsula, has free casting lessons on the Saturday following the third Thursdayof the month in Erkenbrack Park, in Foster City, CA, from 10:00 AM to noon. For further information see their website, linked above.
The Sierra Pacific Flyfishers, Los Angeles, will conduct its' 14th annual free four week course in beginning fly casting, starting March 13, 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The first three weeks will be in Reseda Park, the fourth Saturday on Piru Creek followed by graduation ceremonies and a bbq. The course is open to men and women, teens and older children. Every spring the Northwest Fly Anglers fly fishing club of Seattle, http://www.northwestflyanglers.org offers an eight week beginning fly casting class at Green Lake, in Seattle, starting generally on the first Tuesday of April. Further details appear on their website. The Oakland Casting Club, http://oakland_casters.tripod.com/ has free casting lessons on the third Saturday of each month from March through July, from 10:0 AM to 2:00 PM. The Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club http://www.ggacc.org has free casting lessons from 9:30 til noon on the second Saturday of February through June. The Long Beach Casting Club, http://www.longbeachcastingclub.org has free casting lessons for five weeks starting the second Tuesday of April at 7:00 PM. Other clubs or groups offering free or low cost casting classes and instruction are invited to forward their schedules for inclusion in this list.
